-Name: Chazz
-Age: Timeless, but he looks 25ish.
-Gender: Male
-Species: Human, or something pretty close to it.
-Physical Appearance: About 5’7”, about 120 pounds, longish wavy reddish-brown hair, unusually pale skin, slight build. He wears loose cargo pants and a black shirt with white long sleeves, sometimes under a robe embroidered with Hindu symbols worn open (when he’s feeling flamboyant). He also wears a small ancient Egyptian relic on a longer-than-necessary chain around his neck. The relic is a black stone with a white streak through the middle, carved into the shape of an ankh, the Egyptian symbol of physical and eternal life.
-Personality: Chazz is perpetually cheerful, very sociable, and has a total contempt for authority, and hates being told what to do (even though he is pretty obedient to people he respects). He is somewhat intelligent, but plays a charade of idiocy to people who don’t know him better. Almost everything fascinates him, from a simple stone to the shadow of a tree, to the back of his own hand. This often causes people to view him as childish. He is also somewhat insane. He tries to repress it, but it sporadically shines through.
-Equipment: A staff, which is engraved with the Greek alphabet, and his artifact, which he tries to keep secret, as it is the source of his powers.
-Fighting Style: Varies wildly, but not always depending on what would be most effective. Sometimes, he focuses on mobility and agility, sometimes on brute strength and savagery. Unless something is an immediate threat, he generally refrains from attacking it, preferring to watch and see what it does. Sometimes, the heat of the moment overcomes him and he pounds his opponent into dust. He’s also a shape-shifter, with practically unlimited forms, due to the gods backing him. He can also cast lightning and certain other forms of energy from his being.
-Background: About age 17, Chazz spent some time studying ancient religion in Egypt. His studies brought him to an ancient shrine, where he stumbled upon a relic of times long past. Quite by accident, he activated the relic’s power, allowing him to speak with the old gods. As it were, they were dying. Christianity and (more commonly in the area) Islam were driving the old gods from the world. In exchange for his help, they offered him impressive gifts. He accepted. Through Chazz, the old gods lived on, granting him powers that he could barely control. In an effort to learn control over his powers, he went to the Greek gods, and begged their help. They too were dying, but much faster than the Egyptian gods, so they offered to help in under the same agreement the Egyptian’s had. He accepted, and they granted him power over his powers. In addition, the entire Greek pantheon gave him their support. However, with so many gods at his back, and all trying to get him to do things for them, Chazz’s mind quickly deteriorated. In a last-ditch effort to salvage his sanity, Chazz went to Buddha, who taught him to silence the gods, so his mind was his own again. He could still communicate with them, but they could only be heard when he wished them too. Sometimes under stress, Chazz loses this blessing, and his psyche is their plaything, and he must fight to repress them. This makes him particularly vulnerable to psychic attacks. As he grew older, the gods began to fear for the health of their investment. Having no more to give him, they sent Chazz to the Hindu gods. Again, he got their support, and they gave him eternal youth, in exchange for him trying to bring about the fall of Christianity.
-Allies: Chazz is very quick to make friends, or, more often, to develop an attachment to a particular person and cling to them like a small child.
-Enemies: People who don’t like him and let him know.  
-Story: Chazz entered the Tournament of his own free will, after the gods told him to. They did not explain themselves (actually they did, but every one of them gave a different reason, and there's a lot of them).
